Maritime Radio with DSC: ROC(M)

Students will meet in a classroom either one evening per week or for an all-day course on the weekend. Printed or eBook course material will be distributed to the students. Students will write the examination at the end of the course. If the student passes, they will receive a temporary certificate.
The Course will present the following Topics:
- Radio Procedures
- Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS)
- Digital Selective Calling Radios
- Routine Communications
- Distress Communications (Mayday)
- Urgency Communications (Pan Pan)
- Safety Communications (Sécurité)
- Other GMDSS Equipment
