DESCRIPTION:The CanBoat North Shore offers Boating 2 and Boating 3 in a combined course. The course is twelve weeks duration. You can register for the course as a Classroom Student or as an On-Line Student. Weekly classes are held at Sutherland Secondary School and are Zoomed out to our on-line students in a Simulcast\, interactive presentation. \nThe simulcast presentation allows both classroom and on-line students to access the course from anywhere over the internet while away on vacation or while away for work. This is a popular feature of our more advanced courses.

DESCRIPTION:Boat maintenance\, as a whole\, is actually quite similar to automobile maintenance. There are a few very basic items that require constant maintenance which the owner normally takes care of\, and a few items that require maintenance at regular intervals which some owners deal with and some would leave to the professionals. In these “in person classroom sessions” (not available online) this course will equip you with the knowledge required to identify and pre-empt onboard problems\, carry out specialized tasks and tackle both short-term troubleshooting as well as long-term boat care.  \nIt features practical information and handy tips suitable for both new and existing boat owners.
